Visualizing Survivability Aspects in WDM Networks

چکیده
The impetus focus is on to provide high data transfer and utilization of high bandwidth, so the era of computer networks completed a journey from co-axial, twisted pairs cables to optical cables migrating from SONET/SDH to WDM technology based networks. This paper deals with various aspects concerned to WDM based networks in context to failure of fiber links in WDM optical networks and the survivability aspects in WDM based networks.
